Lotos – Home Care Association was created by the BRC with a special focus on provision of professional integrated medico-social services to vulnerable population groups at their homes. Currently the nurses and the home-helpers employed at the four Home Care Centers in the municipalities of Oryahovo, Byala Slatina, Krivodol and Vratsa provide regular care to 400 beneficiaries, most of them living alone, following active treatment in hospital or having numerous diseases. The services provision is performed in constant collaboration with the family doctors and other medical specialists, regional health and social agencies if needed as well as with the support of the municipal authorities.
